Uber might compensate for the lack of drivers by reviving the old features. The New York Post Uber report has lobbied the Head of the Taxi and the New York City Limousine Commission on the “Potential” delivery of the legendary yellow taxi area. The lobby details are not revealed in public disclosure, but the description suggests you will call a taxi from the Uber application as you can in the previous days.

We have asked for Uber’s comments, even though it refused to talk with a post. A TLC spokesman avoided discussing details, only said that the commission “met often” with a license to explore ideas and that it focused on assistance efforts for drivers who struggled with a taxi medal debt.

Competitive yellow cabins may seem like an unusual choice for companies that routinely clash with the taxi industry and are often blamed for demanding NYC taxi requests. Uber might have to rethink his commission to compensate for the taxi driver who pays a steep fee to operate in the city, and can still face the political opposition given its history.

Even so, it’s easy to see why Uber might consider offering NYC taxis. Revival will increase the chances of passengers printing several types of trips through the Uber application, even if there are not enough ridesharing drivers to get around. It can make New York using uber applications and increase their chances of using a more familiar company option.
